Antique and Classic Car Parade a Festival Feature

The 47th annual Holmes County Antique Festival will be held October 10 & 11, 2009.  While this festival includeds antiques, arts & crafts, food, demonstrations, etc., one of the more popular events is the Antique and Classic Car Parade on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.  On Sunday there is a Grand Parade at 2 p.m.  Throughout the festival visitors can stroll through the historical village, be treated to entertainment and indulge in lots of food!  Just north of the downtown area be sure to visit the Victorian House Museum that was featured on HGTV!
If you like to walk or travel with your bicycles you can pick up the Holmes County Rails to Trails path and take in some of the local wildflowers and trees.   You might even pass an Amish buggy!  When looking for lodging be sure to check out Garden Gate Get-A-Way Bed & Breakfast which was named 1 of the Top 10 B&B in the USA!
