Holiday Recipes for Entertaining

Every Thanksgiving and Christmas season people are looking for new recipes to impress friends and family.  Sometimes you can make it much easier by finding unique and unusual foods.  Holmes County Amish Country has a variety of foods that you can purchase and take home for the holidays!  For breakfast you should check out Millers Amish Bakery near Charm or Hershberger's Farm & Bakery in the same area.  You will find fry pies, cinnamon rolls, apple fritters and more!  Stop by Walnut Creek Cheese for some Peanut Butter Spread or Strawberry Rhubarb Jam to go with your breads.  Mrs. Yoder's Kitchen in Mt. Hope makes some of the best pies and Hershberger's also makes great pies.  Why bother baking when someone can do it for you.  Guggisberg Cheese has some award-winning Baby Swiss that would go great with some Raven's Glenn Wine when it comes to serving appetizers or hosting a cocktail party.  Winesburg Meats has some unique and unusual choices to tempt your tastebuds.  Stop by the Ashery Bulk Foods or Walnut Creek Cheese for some spices, cookie decorations, and other baking items.  There are just so many choices in Amish Country you will have wonderful holiday celebration.
