Murder Mystery in Ohio on New Years Eve a Huge Success

Garden Gate Get-A-Way Bed & Breakfast  in Ohio Amish Country decided to offer something new on New Years Eve 2009, a murder mystery!  The theme was a 'New Years Eve Party' at the home of a self made millionaire.  The phones were ringing off the hook for reservations and the bed and breakfast was sold out.  One of the characters was a naval officer and the guest who played it looked like Tom Cruise in Top Gun.  Another guest played a mechanic named Rusty Crankshaft.  He actually had a mechanics suit and a name tag that we borrowed from someone with the name Rusty on it.  Robert & Anna had done at murder mystery with Garden Gate Get-A-Way in August and thought it was great.  They said that the New Years Eve murder mystery was even more fun.  All of the guests put a lot of thought in to their costumes and did a good job of questioning other guests to to try and figure out who the murderer was.  At the end of the evening the innkeepers passed out awards for Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Costume.  They also gave each couple a bottle of champagne to have a midnight toast.  The next morning at breakfast each couple was given a picture of them in costume at the murder mystery.  Some great memories were created on the last day of the year!  If you want to do a murder mystery in ohio be sure to check out this bed and breakfast.
