Romantic Places in Ohio's Amish Country

It's almost Valentines Day and people are looking for over night and weekend romantic places in OhioGarden Gate Get-A-Way Bed & Breakfast in Holmes County, OH has compiled a list of Romantic Places in Ohio's Amish Country for you to check out.   The first thing is to book a romantic place to stay.  Garden Gate Get-A-Way Bed & Breakfast has a beautiful Jacuzzi suite, the Garden Gate Suite, that just spells romance.  The same owners have some new luxury, romantic cottages, Cottages at Garden Gate Get-A-Way, that offers a private cottage with peninsula fireplace, Jacuzzi and more.  One thing that always seems to go with Valentines and romance is chocolate!  Coblentz Chocolate Company in Walnut Creek is a must visit.  They have a viewing gallery where you can watch chocolates being made, a counter where you can "build your own box of chocolates", or pre-packaged selections that are to die for!  Even if you don't drink wine on a regular basis, people tend to get a bottle for Valentines Day.  Be sure to visit Heinis Gourmet Market in Sugarcreek.  Not only do they have a wonderful selection of wines and a wine tasting counter, but they sell cheese, cheese balls, crackers, and many other foods made right here in Ohio.  Just down the road from Heinis is Breitenbach Winery, Ohio's 2nd largest winery.  They also have a tasting counter.  For a cozy, romantic lunch be sure to visit Rebecca's Bistro in Walnut Creek.  You won't find menus there because every day is a new treat of gourmet lunches from homemade soups, to quiches, to entree salads and more.  If you want to buy your sweetheart a little something be sure to visit Carlisle House of Gifts in Walnut Creek or Berlin Village Gift Barn in Berlin.  Wendell August Forge is another place with unique, hand-crafted items including Valentine gifts.  For a truly romantic dinner for 2 be sure to visit the restaurant at the Inn at Honey Run, reservations are recommended.  They are the only 5-star restaurant in Holmes County, Ohio.  For more places to visit while you are in Ohio's Amish Country just talk with your hosts at Garden Gate Get-A-Way Bed & Breakfast or Cottages at Garden Gate Get-A-Way and they can customize an itinerary for just the 2 of you.
