Amish Country Inn has Special Plans for Mothers Day and Fathers Day

An  Amish Country Inn in Ohio has special plans to pamper your parents this Mothers Day and Fathers Day weekend.  For Mothers Day weekend Garden Gate Get-A-Way Bed & Breakfast has invited renowned author, Dr. Elton Lehman, to come to the B&B to give a talk about his book 'House Calls & Hitching Posts'.  Each chapter in this book tells a different story about Dr. Lehman's experiences doctoring to the Old Order Amish in Ohio.  There will be plenty of time to take Mom out to explore Holmes County Amish Country.  The evening event will start by having dinner in an Amish home with Dr. Lehman.  Afterwards Dr. Lehman will talk about how he came to writing his book, some of the stories in the book and some of the stories that were bumped from the book.  For Fathers Day Weekend the bed and breakfast has invited Grammy nominated, acoustic guitar player, Bud Preston for a special concert.  You can take Dad around Amish Country to play golf or tour Warthers Museum or tour a cheese factory.  In the evening Garden Gate Get-A-Way Bed & Breakfast will provide each guest room with a picnic dinner in the gardens while Bud Preston performs.  Bud Preston has played everything from Greensleeves to the Beatles, his originals focused on Holmes County, and will now introduce songs that he has written about the history of the Erie Canal.  Not only will Mom and Dad enjoy this one-of-a-kind weekend package, but they will appreciate that they are staying in a 3-time award winning bed and breakfast, including 1 of the Top 10 B&B's in the USA award.
