Amish Country Inn Invites Guests to Holmes County Fair

Our Amish Country Inn, Garden Gate Get-A-Way Bed & Breakfast, loves to send guests to the Holmes County Fair.  Remember when back in time the entire town would come out to a County fair?  There were corn dogs and cotton candy, ferris wheel rides, the prize steer on show from the farmer down the street...   That is what the Holmes County Fair in Ohio is like.  This summer the fair runs August 16-21, 2010 just outside of the village of Millersburg.  In addition to the old-fashioned kind of fair displays and animals there is a lot of special music.  The feature is on August 21 with a Johnny Cash Tribute performance.  There is an entire schedule for the Holmes County Fair on the Internet.  There are many other things to see and do during the week that the fair is going on and you can even take an Ohio Amish Country Tour.  There is also an Art Show in Winesburg and big sale at Keim Lumber.  After a busy day at the fair, or exploring Amish Country, you can unwind at the campfire at Garden Gate Get-A-Way Bed & Breakfast.  Be sure to ask your innkeepers about other things to do in Holmes County, Ohio.
