Don't miss Holidays at the Mansion in Holmes County Ohio

If you visit Holmes County Ohio this Christmas season you won't want to miss Holidays at the Mansion.  It is an annual event at the Victorian House Museum in Millersburg.  It starts November 20th, 2010 and runs through the end of the year.  It all starts with a lighting ceremony at 7 p.m. on the 20th.  Each room of the mansion will be decorated for the holidays.  This 28 room home was built by L.H. Brightman of Cleveland, Ohio.  This wealthy industrialist designed the home in a Queen Anne style.  Today it is listed on the National Register of Historial Places.  It has been featured on HGTV under the Victorian Homes shows.  The latest claim to fame is that Ohio Paranormal Research has found signs of ghosts in the home.  Once you've seen the home you will want to return every year for the holiday decorations.  Holidays at the Mansion will be open Monday - Thursday from 1-4 p.m. and from 1-8 p.m. on Friday - Sunday.   Be sure to stay at Garden Gate Get-A-Way Bed & Breakfast when you come to Holidays at the Mansion.
