New Wine Tasting Weekends in Ohio Amish Country

Starting in November 2011 there are new wine tasting weekends in Ohio Amish Country.  Garden Gate Get-A-Way Bed & Breakfast has their own tour bus to take B&B guests on various tours.  Starting in November 2011 through Spring 2012 they are offering 1 wine tasting weekend per month.  Guests will check-in on a Friday, have free time to explore Saturday morning, and depart on the tour in the afternoon.  The first stop will be Heini's Gourmet Market in Sugarcreek.  Guests will be treated to a wine tasting and have time to shop and sample Heini's Cheese.  There is musical entertainment on Saturday afternoons while at this stop.  The next stop is Pearl Valley Cheese where guests are encouraged to try different types of cheese, some they may have never tried before.  The ultimate destination will be Ravens Glenn Winery where the group will start with a winery tour, then participate in a wine tasting, and end with a 5 course dinner with a glass of wine to compliment each course.  After a leisure breakfast on Sunday guests will head for home.  Visit the bed and breakfast website for details and pricing.
