Explore Arts and Culture When You Travel Ohio Amish Country

The next time you travel to Ohio Amish Country you may be surprised to find artists and cultural options in addition to shopping and Amish culture.  Holmes County Pottery is home to Ohio's largest wood-fire kiln and you will find a lot of functional pieces offered in the showroom.  Eagles Song Studio has fireplace mantles carved from barn beams as well as bronze garden sculptures.  Bowden Bells is full of recycled garden art.  Berlin is home to Blue River Art Gallery and Berlin Creek Gallery offering several types of art.  Wendell August Forge has items forged from aluminum, bronze, and copper from coasters to platters to cheese boards and vases.   When it comes to cultural options you will want to see Behalt, a mural at the Amish & Mennonite Heritage Center, that depicts the history of the Mennonite and Amish communities.    The Victorian House Museum in Millersburg has some very unique fireplaces and interesting history.  These are just some of the arts and culture options when you travel to Ohio Amish Country.
