Ohio bed and breakfast talks of Wholesome Valley Farm

Guests at our Ohio bed and breakfast often ask us where to find farmers markets and healthy foods.  There is one place near Wilmot, Ohio that we would like to share with you, Wholesome Vally Farm.  It is located at 927 US 62 about 6-8 miles north of Berlin.  The vegetables that are sold there are naturally grown without any chemicals.  You'll find about 20 kinds of vegetables when the season is right.  There are more nutrients in what they produce because they use natural minerals to build the soil.  In addition to vegetables you can purchase free-range eggs from the chickens in their pasture.  They also offer beef and chicken produced by Amish farmers in Holmes County.  In the store you will find honey, syrups, bakery items, etc.
On Saturday, June 2, 2012, there is a special event at Wholesome Valley Farm.  They are hosting a Spring Garden & Strawberry Festival.  During the day you can see soap making, attend a bee seminar, and take an herb walk.  You can even sign up to receive a peck or bushel of fresh produce every week.
The next time you stay at our Ohio bed and breakfast ask for directions to this farmers market.
