2-8 oz. cans of crescent rolls
2-8 oz. packages of cream cheese
1.5 cups sugar
1 egg, separated
1 t. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Spread one can of crescent roll dough in a 13" x 9" greased baking dish. (Press the perforations together to seal)
In a bowl combine the cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla, and spread on top of crescent roll in baking dish.
Top with the 2nd can of cresent rolls.
Beat the egg white and brush on top of the top layer of crescent rolls. Mix remaining 1/2 cup of sugar and the 1/2 cup of nuts and sprinkle on top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before serving.
