If you like outdoor dramas on your Ohio weekend getaways then you will want to be sure and see Trumpet in the Land.  Paul Green, a pulitzer prize winning playwright, wrote this drama.  The setting is during the Revolutionary War.  This indian drama is a story of a peaceful people's influence on the war.  The tragic events that take place led to the founding of Ohio's 1st settlement, Schoenbrunn.  Trumpet in the Land runs from June through August, Monday through Saturday.  The shows start at 8:30 p.m.   You have the option of purchasing a pre-show tour ticket that takes you back stage and you will meet the actors and learn about the special effects that you are about to see in the show.  They also run other shows such as White Savage and some specialty performances such as Dracula.
